Spring is here!

I know with the weather we've been having lately, it's kind of hard to tell what season it is. But fear no more, it should start feeling more like spring soon! Say goodbye to cold and hello to the beauty NYC has to offer this spring! The trees will be green, flowers in sidewalk planters will bloom and you can finally have your iced coffee again! Here are some ways to celebrate the first days of Spring.

The Butterfly Conservatory at The American Museum of Natural History:

Come out of your warm blanket cocoon and come see these beautiful butterflies! Definitely an attraction for all ages, this has always been a favorite of mine since I was a little girl growing up in NYC. Step into the tropical paradise of the vivarium, which is maintained at 80OF, where hundreds of species of butterflies await. Expert tip- put a drop of honey on your finger and stand still! One might just perch on you! Your friends will surely be impressed with that photo!

Macy's Flower Show:

Forgo the Snapchat flower crown filter and design your own here! Come one, come all to our celebration of the iconic American carnival, reimagined with organic installations and floral arrangements throughout select Macy's stores. Lose yourself in the quirks and delights of early 20th century fairs. Immerse yourself in the nostalgia of candied foods and the romance of old carousels. Fill yourself with orchestral music from Wurlitzer organs. Step right up and interact with the Flower Show in a whole new way.
